The opposition UPND has advised PF Media and Publicity Vice Chairperson Sunday Chanda to concentrate on selling the PF candidate as opposed to beating down UPND President Hakainde Hichilema who is not in Government.

UPND Secretary General Stephen Katuka has advised Mr. Chanda to stop imaging things citing that 2016 will not be about telling people what the PF will do for them but pointing out what they have done in their time in office.

Mr. Katuka notes that their job is to form Government in 2016 and not be drawn into trivialities adding that it is their hope that Mr. Chanda will address load shedding and miners losing jobs on the Copperbelt instead of concentrating on none issues.

But Mr. Chanda has challenged Mr. Katuka to tell Zambians how much was paid to Mr. Hichilema for his role in the privatization process because areas such as the Copperbelt Province crave for such information.

He adds that the people have a duty to remind Mr. Hichilema that contrary to what may be his notion; Zambians have not experienced collective amnesia to forget that when the country’s privatization history is told, his name will always be part of it.

He further states that it is sheer ignorance for Mr. Katuka not to know that the current load-shedding is a consequence of poor rainfall patterns.
