The ruling PF says the emotional outbursts by UPND Secretary General Stephen Katuka should confirm that the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema is in a valley of indecision over the 50 percent plus one and running mate clauses.

PF Media Committee Vice Chairman Sunday Chanda has explained to QFM News that the UPND Mr. Hichilema is fearful of the 50 percent plus one and running mate clauses because other opposition leaders will find it extremely difficult to trust him.

Mr. Chanda has repeated that Mr. Hichilema dreads the 50 percent plus one and running mate clauses, no wonder he instructed his MPs to ensure the Constitution Amendment Bill of 2015 does not see the light of day.

He says further, Mr. Hichilema is surrounded by two Deputy Presidents who are better politicians with more political chemistry than their boss.

He adds that Zambians know that Mr. Hichilema’s political cradle was and remains tribal to this day, a fact he has not renounced expect to deny a notorious fact.

Mr. Chanda says UPND Secretary General Hon. Katuka has lamentably failed to address the sentiments by Mazabuka UPND MP Garry Nkombo on the floor of the House to the effect that Southern Province would change Government next year.

He says the remarks by Mr. Nkombo reaffirmed the convictions deeply imbedded within the UPND where governance is judged on the basis of tribe.
