The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) on the Copperbelt is confident of retaining all of its 20 parliamentary seats during next year’s general election.

PF Kitwe District Spokesperson Christopher Kang’ombe has told QFM News via telephone that the target for 2016 is to capture all the 22 parliamentary seats in the province.

Mr. Kang’ombe says the opposition UPND and FDD are day dreaming to continue claiming that they will win most of the seats in the province in 2016.

He adds that it is also surprising for the UPND to claim to have penetrated the Copperbelt.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kang’ombe has encouraged young people on the Copperbelt to register as voters before the end of the extended mobile voter registration on Sunday.
