Saunders advises political parties to introduce party membership cards

Political Activist Dante Saunders has advised political parties without membership cards to come up with membership cards as part of efforts to end political violence in the country.

Mr. Saunders notes that it is difficult to know genuine members of certain political parties in times of political violence considering that some political parties do not have membership cadres.

He says if all political parties have membership cards it will be easy to identify violent cadres and eventually expose violent political parties.

Mr. Saunders says there is need for stakeholders to continue giving suggestions of how political violence in the country can be curbed to avoid bloodshed during elections.

Speaking in a separate interview with QFM News, PF Lusaka province Youth Chairman Kennedy Kamba says the party has come up with measures aimed at exposing violent cadres together those who send them.
