Parties advised against entertaining early 2016 polls thoughts

Political parties in the Country have been advised against entertaining the thought of having early 2016 general elections.

The Zambian Voice thinks that having early general elections will temper with Zambia’s democratic process which entails that a general election is only to be held after a complete five years.

Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says opposition political should also be wary that holding early general elections would favor the ruling PF.

Mr. Tayali says the ruling PF still has the goodwill of the people because the current economic challenges which the opposition wants to prey on are not worse as they assume.
He spoke to the Qfm News in an interview.
