Civil rights activist Brebner Changala has expressed concern with the manner the media is reporting on the current economic crisis the country is facing.

Mr. Changala has observed that the media is making it look as if Zambia is the only country affected by the falling global commodity prices.

In an interview with Qfm News, Mr. Changala has advised that as opposed to portraying Zambia as the only affected Country, the media should instead be informing the populace on the need for the Country to diversify.

Mr. Changala says the media should help come up with solutions that will enable the Country pull out from the current economic situation.

He believes it is out of such an economic crisis that the country should emerge even stronger.

Mr. Changala has given Rwanda and Japan as examples of Countries that emerged stronger after going through economic challenges.

He says Zambia can therefore learn something from these Countries and actually emerge stronger economically.
