Appointment of Kampyongo as PF National Youth Chairman cheers youths

Patriotic Front national youth League advocates have welcomed the appointment of Local Government and Housing Minister Steven Kampyongo as PF National youth Chairperson by President Edgar Lungu.

PF national youth league advocates representative Mubanga Mundashi says President Lungu has once again demonstrated he means business when he says he desires to work with the youth as evidence by the appointment of Mr Kampyongo.

Mr. Mundashi says there is no doubt that Mr. Kampyongo will revive the vibrancy in all the youth structures in the party that is currently lacking.

He adds that as youth member of the PF they are confident that the new PF national youth chairman will wrestle the issue of various mushrooming youth groupings in the party by formally establishing the PF National Youth League in accordance with the party constitution so as to bring all youth groupings under one umbrella.
