MMD Ikeleng’i Member of Parliament Elijah Muchima is disappointed that the extended mobile voter registration exercise lacks proper coordination in constituency.

Mr. Muchima has disclosed that voter registration officers who were initially expected to spend 7 days at each polling station are only spending two days before proceeding to another polling station.

He has told Qfm News by telephone that the reduced number of days registrations officers are spending at each polling station is leaving out many eligible voters.

Mr. Muchima says he is also concerned that there is no coordination in how the voter registration and the NRC registration exercises are being conducted.

He notes that instead of the two exercises running simultaneously, the voter registration is being rushed ahead of the NRC mobile issuance exercise.
