PPAZ in support of SDG number five

Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia (PPAZ) says it is in support of the Sustainable Development Goal number five which is aimed at the women empowerment and girls.

Executive Director Edford Mutuma says his association believes this goal will reduce the high number of early marriages, teenage pregnancies in the country.

He says his organization is happy that issues to do with women, young women and children were taken seriously hence the need for government to work together so as to reduce the challenges facing women, children and girls in the country.

He says his organizations will also ensure that it addresses the issues to do with girls in the country.
