United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema says it is very clear that a number of economic fundamentals and policy inconsistencies under the PF Government are a hindrance to Foreign Direct Investment.

And the UPND Leader says the arrogance of the PF Government over the constitution making process will cost them next year’s elections.

Mr. Hichilema says he has been advising the PF Government for a very long time now and have offered alternative policies on many of the issues but have been ignored saying their arrogance will not help them in 2016.

Mr. Hichilema has also charged that the PF Government has been arrogant over the constitution making process and does not want to listen to the views of the people of Zambia.

He wonders how possible it will be for the people to keep the PF in government when they have not respected their wishes when it comes to the constitution making process and other pressing issues.

The UPND Leader has since called for stronger stakeholders’ partnership in pushing government to deliver a people driven constitution saying the country is tired of waiting for the new supreme law of the land.

He believes that there is still chance for government not to go ahead and amend the constitution through parliament against the wishes of the people.
