Kabimba puts Chikwanda to tasks

Opposition Rainbow Party has challenged the PF government to explain whether or not it was voted into power to put the people of Zambia in misery.

The Rainbow Party is also asking the PF government to tell the nation exactly what it is doing to protect people from hunger amidst the escalated prices of food in the Country.

Rainbow Party President Wynter Kabimba says for the fact that Alexander Chikwanda is the Finance Minister he must also give answers to these questions.

Mr. Kabimba has also questioned the reasoning behind chartering a private plane for President Edgar Lungu to go to New York when Zambia is faced with rising food prices and lack of drugs in Hospitals.

He has wondered whether the PF government’s priorities lie in one individual in the name of the republican President or are to the Zambian people.

Mr. Kabimba states that the people of Zambia want to hear from Mr. Chikwanda as the Minister responsible for Finance to speak on behalf of President Lungu who is in New York.

He says Mr. Chikwanda should state whether or not President Lungu thinks that attending the UN General Assembly in New York is priority than resolving the economic crisis in his own Country.

The Rainbow Party president has further asked Mr. Chikwanda to tell the nation exactly how he is dealing with the depreciating Kwacha.

He says he wants Mr. Chikwanda to answer these questions particularly that he is on record to have said that he supported President Lungu to ascend to power because he thought he was the humblest among all PF presidential hopefuls that arose following the death of President Michael Sata.
