ZABS adopts new logo

Government has implored the Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) to impart more publicity, sensitization and awareness campaigns about the services it provides in the Country.

Commerce, Trade and Industry Deputy Minister Miles Sampa says government envisages that in doing so more entrepreneurs will be able to access product and service certification in the Country.

He notes that this in turn will lead to improved quality of Zambian products and services with standards capable of competing favorably on the international Market.

Mr. Sampa said this during the official unveiling of the new ZABS logo in Lusaka.

Earlier, ZABS Director Manuel Mutale said his organization decided to change its logo after realizing that it was misplaced in its earlier style.

Mr. Mutale notes that the ZABS logo has changed to also meet the modern marketing models.

He states that ZABS wants to use its new logo to also improve on its operations.
