Mr. Sinkamba says if elected President in next year’s general election he will ensure full utilization of the existing ‘open-door policy’ in efforts of strengthening bilateral ties for the economic benefit of the country.

He says he will also double his efforts in creating a platform for enhanced interaction of diplomats with the government to help address challenges affecting national economic development.

Mr Sinkamba has told QFM News that his government will partner with other governments across the world in efforts to reduce the negative effects of the global economic crisis on the Zambian economy.

He adds that his government will reorganize the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to create the Ministry of International Relations and Trade.
