PF urges youths to register as voters

Patriotic Front Youth in Lusaka province has encouraged youths in the country regardless of political to turnout in numbers and register as voters in the ongoing registration exercise ahead of the 2016 elections.

PF provincial youth Secretary Stanley Chiumya says the church mother bodies and nongovernmental organizations should help in sensitize youths and Zambians at large on the importance of participating in voting.

He says the ongoing registration of voters is a national event which requires other stakeholders to help sensitize people.

Mr Chiumya says this is the only way the voter apathy witnessed in recent elections will be overcome.
