Zambians should trace root cause of current economic challenges – Zimba

The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia (ISCZ) says in trying to find the cause of the problems that the county is facing, people should look backwards and not blame the current leadership.

Supreme Council President Suzyo Zimba says the problems the country is facing were left by past governments and President Lungu’s government just found them.

He says President Lungu should not be blamed for the challenges the country is facing because he was not there when certain decision were being made citing that instead people should support and advise him on what could be done in finding solutions to the problems the country is facing.

Mr. Zimba says since things are being exposed now, it means that the government is working and trying to put things right adding that if the past government’s were working, these should have been exposed during their time.

He however notes that what the country is experiencing should be a lesson for country to begin planning ahead.

Mr. Zimba also says certain people who have positions of leadership should be done away with and belong to the past if the country as to move forward adding that some of these people saved in the past government’s which failed to plan the nation.

He further states that the people of Zambia should forget their political affiliations and work together in addressing the challenges the country is facing.
