Youths for Transparency and Integrity (YTI) has welcomed the creation of five new ministries by President Lungu.
YTI Executive Director Bright Muchimba has however stated that the move is miscalculated citing that the country is going through a lot of economic hardships which need to be addressed.
Mr. Muchimba says government should have its priorities right noting that right now, President Lungu and the government should be putting measures that would respond to the worsening economic crisis in the country.
He adds that the creation of ministries is something which will come with a huge cost and should have been later as at the moment, there a lot of things that can be looked at and addressed using the same resources that will be spent on operationalizing the new ministries created.
Mr. Muchimba further states that the PF government will relook at its priorities and ensure that they address the challenges the people of Zambia are facing stressing that the continued increase in the cost of living is becoming unbearable for the poor majority Zambians.
