Lungu rebukes opposition

Evangelical Youth Alliance International Executive Director Moses Lungu has rebuked the opposition political parties for criticizing President Lungu’s speech in parliament.

Reverend Lungu says it is morally wrong for the opposition to always oppose everything that the party in government is doing.

Reverend Lungu says most people have appreciated President Lungu’s vision as he clearly outlined how his administration is dealing with the current challenges in the country.

He says the Head of State has outlined his long term measures in the energy sector in view of the current power deficit in the country, the creation of employment and the realignment of some ministries which he says in turn will create jobs for people.

He says this is the more reason why people are finding it difficult to trust the opposition as they can not see anything positive in the PF government saying they have recorded some positive strides and that they have not done well in certain areas.

Meanwhile, Reverend Lungu has praised former Republican President Rupiah Banda for his continued advice to President Lungu on certain issues considering that he has experience of governing the nation.

He says there is nothing wrong for Mr. Banda to give his support to President Lungu saying in fact he is not doing it for President Lungu but for the people of Zambia.
