ZYAFAC demands seriousness in fuel sabotage probe

The Zambia Youths Association in the Fight Against Corruption (ZYAFAC) has demanded seriousness from government in dealing with what lead to the fuel shortage in the country early this year.

ZYFAC does not thinks it holds water for government to continue complain about who alleged caused the fuel shortage when it has sufficient machinery to get to the bottom of the issue.

ZYAFAC Executive Director Rickson Kanema says if there are any suspicions of corruption involved, his organization believes that government has relevant law enforcement agencies to follow up this issue and bring the perpetrators to book.

Mr. Kanema notes that ZYAFAC is opposed to the current situation where State House appears to be politicking over such serious matter of alleged sabotage.

He says his organization expects drastic measures to be put in place.
