UPND vice president for political affairs Canisius Banda says his party seeks to foster accelerated national development through the mobilization and sustainable use of the available and potential human and natural resources for the empowerment of every Zambian citizen.
Dr. Banda has assured Zambians that a UPND Government will work tirelessly to realize the dream of a prosperous Zambia secured on mutual understanding, love and national unity for speedy economic and social development.
He says the party will also ensure that all agreed or approved projects and programmes are implemented thoroughly in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
Dr Banda adds that the UPND will lower the cost of mealie meal and food in general, to ensure every Zambian affords a decent meal and becomes productive.
He states that the economic policies of the UPND will reconstruct Zambia’s ailing economy because it has a credible team that can attract investment that will make the kwacha stable for years to come.
Dr. Banda says there UPND is therefore to govern the country come 2016.
