Government has disclosed that over 60, 000 metric tones of Compound D fertilizer have been distributed to all the ten provinces for the 2015/2016 farming season.

Mr. Shawa has since assured the farmers across the country not worry about the inputs being delivered late because government will distribute all the remaining inputs on time before the onset of the rains.

He tells QFM News in an interview that top dressing fertilizer is also being distributed by the private sector.

Mr. Shawa has also disclosed that government is in the process of awarding a seed supplier a contract to distribute seed to all the ten provinces.
