NAREP calls on govt to address street vending issue

The Opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) has called on government to address the issue of street vending in the country.

NAREP Nation Secretary Mabvuto Mwanza notes that government has not done much in addressing the issue.

Mr Mwanza says government should come up with new commercial trading sites for street vendors unlike the current prevailing situation.

He states that with the rainy season around the corner, there is a possibility of disease outbreak if the issue of street vending is not addressed.

Mr. Mwanza says the issue of street vending is a serious matter that needs urgent attention from the government.
