Power Dynamos host Konkola Blades on Saturday at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe with an eye on returning to the number two spot on the Faz Super League table.

The Kitwe side is currently third and tied on 46 points with second placed Zanaco as the two sides continue to exchange the number two spot over the last month.

Victory for Power will see them reclaim second position for at least 24 hours before Zanaco host Nkana at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.

Power return home hoping that their recent good fortunes at Arthur Davies will bless them with a win there where they have picked up six points in their last two games after recording a point from two away matches.

Tennant Chilumba should have a full team at his disposal although goalkeeper Joshua Titima and midfielder Kelvin Mubanga are still doubts due to injuries.

However, defender Christopher Munthali is back from 2017 Africa Cup qualifying duty with Zambia after missing last Saturday’s 1-1 away draw at Red Arrows in Lusaka.

Meanwhile, the match will mark Blades coach John Munkonje’s debut meeting against the club he played for between 2002 and 2010 before joining the Power bench.

Munkonje heads into his fourth game in charge on the back of two defeats after a flying start that saw Blades beat bottom placed National Assembly 3-0 on his first day on the job on August 22.

Blades currently occupy the top part of the bottom four relegation slots where they sit in 13th position with seven games left before their FAZ Super League fate is known.
