Zambians are not benefiting from infrastructure development- ZV observes

Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali has observed that Zambians are not benefiting from infrastructure development projects government has embarked on.

Mr Tayali observes that almost 90 percent of the projects in the country are being undertaken by foreigners who are externalizing most of the income back to their home countries.

Mr. Tayali notes that the Zambian people are in most cases employed as laborers and end up being paid peanuts a situation he has described as worrying.

He further notes that Government is being over ambitious regarding certain construction projects it has embarked on.
