Creation of new Districts, opportunity – MHA

The Ministry of Home Affairs says the creation of new districts will help people living in remote parts of the country obtain green National Registration Cards (NRCs).

Ministry Spokesperson Moses Suwali says it has been a challenge for people living in remote areas to get National Registration Cards because of the distance they have to cover to get to the nearest registration offices.

Mr. Suwali says the Ministry of Home Affairs is mandated to ensure that eligible Zambians obtain their NRCs on time.

Mr. Suwali has also stressed the need for the continuous mobile issuance of National Registration Cards (NRCs) at least annually despite it being costly.
