Zambian Voice unimpressed with Zambia’s graft fight

The Zambian voice says the country does not seem to be doing very well in curbing corruption in the country.

Zambian voice executive director Chilufya Tayali says Corruption is one of the greatest enemies of a growing economy.

Mr. Tayali says the President needs to be firm on corruption to send a message to many of his ministers who are busy taking advantage of their position to enrich themselves.

He notes that the President must also lead in showing seriousness at work and being effective citing that the president should be seen to be attending to stressing issues as soon as possible before the public starts talking because it creates anxiety and speculations.

He stresses that government should not be reactive, but proactive and on point in the fight against corruption.
