Simbao pleased with purchase of maize by FRA in his constituency

Senga Hill Member of Parliament Kapembwa Simbao has hailed the ongoing smooth purchase of maize by the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) in his constituency.

Mr. Simbao says farmers in his constituency are happy with the increase in the floor price for maize and are responding well to the FRA’s procedure of buying the grain.

He has told Qfm News by telephone that he has taken note of numerous satellite depots were farmers are taking their produce to be sold to the agency.

Mr. Simbao says President Edgar Lungu’s decision to increase the floor price for maize from K70 to K75 per 50kg bag of maize has been a big boost to farmers in Senga Hill.
