Lungu is working hard for Zambia – Chanda

The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) has implored Zambians to be united and exhibit patriotism as the Government takes measures to strengthen the economy and respond to other challenges.

PF Media Committee Vice Chairperson Sunday Chanda says President Edgar Lungu is working hard to translate its election manifesto promises into tangible results.

Mr. Chanda says even in the midst of the current challenged, President Lungu has shown strong resolve to find long-term solutions to any challenges.

Mr. Chanda says most people are aware that President Lungu is providing leadership towards diversification of the economy and taking measures to reduce Zambia’s dependency on copper.

He says President Lungu’s administration is making investments for purposes of diversifying Zambia’s energy sources from sole dependence on hydro power to solar, coal, thermal and wind energy.

Mr. Chanda says there is so much President Lungu has done within the eight and more remains to be done before the next elections.
