Health Deputy Minister Chitalu Chilufya says the misunderstanding over allowances which arose at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) involving junior Doctors has been resolved.
Dr Chilufya tells QFM News that the misunderstanding did not affect senior doctors or other resident doctors, but those pursuing the postgraduate program.
Dr. Chilufya says it is therefore wrong for some sections of the media to suggest that resident Doctors at the country’s highest health institution were on strike.
He says there was no strike or anything of that nature.
