Bwalya confident PF will take Lubansenshi

The ruling PF has expressed optimism of winning the Lubansenshi Parliamentary seat which the incumbent Patrick Mucheleka is contesting under the UPND ticket.

The ruling PF has placed it confidence on the fact that George Mwamba whom it has fielded as its candidate originates from the area.

PF Lubansenshi Deputy Campaign manager Frank Bwalya has told Qfm News by telephone that alike in 2011 when PF adopted a candidate whom people did not like, this time around it has adopted Mr. Mwamba because he is a local business man who also once worked in area as District Commissioner.

Father Bwalya states that his party is also basing its confidence on the votes that President Edgar Lungu got in Lubansenshi in the January 20th presidential election early this year.

He notes that results of the January 20th presidential election in Lubansenshi which President Lungu won by 5000 plus vote show that people that voted for Mr. Mucheleka in 2011 came back to support their party the ruling PF.

Father Bwalya says this is why his party has no doubts about winning the by-election.
