Zambia needs divine intervention,clergy

Christ for All Nations (CFAN) says Zambia needs divine intervention which will turn her fortunes around.

Speaking during a media briefing ahead of the joint Christ crusade, Christ for All Nations Africa Director Reverend John Darku says the social and economic challenges; the energy crisis among other challenges Zambia is grappling with need God’s hand to turn around.

Reverend Darku points out that the legalization of gay marriage in the USA poses a serious threat to Africa too, stating that the church needs to resist the forces of darkness which they would want to introduce in Africa thus seeking to destroy the Godly foundation of Zambia.

He explains that the crusade will sensitize people to reject the imposition of gay marriage on Zambia and Africa.

He adds that the crusade will enhance the economic fortunes of Zambia.

Reverend Darku says the church in Zambia and CFAN have the capacity to change the negative social trend stressing that the crime rate will be low and the work ethics of the people will improve and peace will prevail.

He further appealed to pastors across the country to support the crusade for the benefit of the nation.

The Christ Crusade which is being organized by the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia is scheduled for 3rd September to 6th September.
