Siavonga District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has urged the media to be responsible their reporting.
Mr. Kanyama says it is unfortunate that some sections of the media want to report on things to suit their agenda.
Mr. Kanyama says he is disappointed with some sections of the media who want to paint a bad picture about the President and the PF government.
He says the President and the government at large deserve the respect of the people of Zambia and that the media should be in the forefront promoting respect.
Mr. Kanyama states that the media should realize that by reporting things out of context they risk losing credibility.
He says he is disappointed by some media institutions that reported that President Lungu dosed off in Siavonga recently.
