95% of works on Mongu urban roads done

Ninety five (95) percent of the road works under phase 1 of the rehabilitation of Mongu urban townships roads and the added 3 kilometers of the road network have been done.

Interview with QFM News, Mongu municipal council public officer Lusale Kaseba says all the asphalt works will be completed by the end of the week.

Ms. Kaseba says this includes works on the stadium road and the main bus station.

She says this will means that by next week all bus operators will have to move back to the bus station.

Ms Kaseba explains that the same contractor China Geo Engineering Cooperation (CGC) and consultants Ranking Engineering will thereafter do the drains and walkways.

She further states that final works are expected to be completed by the end of next month.
