Construction of health posts not progressing well – Mufalali

United Party for National Development (UPND) Senanga Member of Parliament Likando Mufalali says the construction of health posts in the area is not progressing well.

Mr. Mufalali says the construction of health posts means that mothers and children will access quality health services and reduce the maternal deaths.

He has since urged government to expedite the whole process of putting up the six health posts in Senanga.

Mr. Mufalali says at the pace the construction of the health post is moving it will be impossible for the Ministry of Health to meet its target of completing the 650 health posts before the end of 2016.

He says there is need for the Government to monitor the progress on the construction of the health posts.
