Green party Peter Sinkamba says President Edgar Lungu’s going Green policy statements are thoroughly sensible and plausible.
In an interview with QFM, Mr. Sinkamba says Green policies are simply the best alternative agenda for a country like Zambia.
He states that this is considering the many benefits of such policies.
Mr Sinkamba however states that the tragedy for the country is policy inconsistence in the Patriotic Front Government.
He notes that the government can come with good policies and yet fail to implement them accordingly.
Mr. Sinkamba says it would help the PF government a lot to be consistent with their policies.
He stresses that the idea of embracing a green economy will help address many challenges the country is facing pertaining to climate change and those ravaging the energy sector.
Mr Sinkamba has since urged President Lungu to continue with what he has started in transforming the country’s economy to a green economy.
