Creating 500, 000 by end of 2016 is over ambitious – Mulongoti

Peoples Party Leader Mike Mulongoti says President Edgar Lungu was being over ambitious by targeting to create 500,000 jobs for the youth by the end of 2016 through the action plan on youth empowerment and employment.

Mr. Mulongoti says it is impossible for President Lungu to create more than 500, 000 jobs considering that he has less than a year before his terms comes to an end.

He wonders what criteria the President will use to achieve his plan considering that the country’s economy is unstable.

Mr. Mulongoti has told QFM News that not even the United States whose economy is robust can create such a number of jobs in such a period of time.
