Siamunene’s appointment a mockery to PF founder members – Lifwekelo

Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) Deputy spokesperson Edwin Lifwekelo has charged that the appointment of UPND Siavonga Member of Parliament as Defence Minister is a mockery to PF founder members.

Mr. Lifwekelo says the move shows that President Edgar Lungu has no confidence in Patriotic Front Members who have made the party what it is today.

He adds that the appointment of Mr Siamunene as Defence Minister will not in any way deceive the people of southern province.

Mr. Lifwekelo who was the first Patriotic Front Secretary General after its formation states that Mr Siamunene’s appointment will not add any value saying he has failed to develop his constituency.
