Mulongoti gives counsel ahead of tabling of Constitution Bills

People’s Party President Mike Mulongoti has urged Members of Parliament to put partisan politics aside when the constitution amendment bill is tabled during the next sitting of Parliament.

Mr Mulongoti says the members of parliament are well aware what the people of Zambia whose interests they represent.

He states that Parliamentarians should therefore ensure that they debate the constitution bill as expected of them.
Mr Mulongoti says this is the best gift they can give the people that elected them to Parliament.

Mr. Mulongoti further states that the people of Zambia expect that constitutional amendments will be passed without any changes to the submissions the people made to the Technical Committee on drafting the constitution.
