Govt reassures nation of enough relief food in stock

Government has reassured the nation that there is enough relief food to carter for would-be needy areas of the country affected by the 2014/2015 poor rainfall pattern.

Deputy Minister in the Office of the Vice President Lazarus Chungu says this means that any area where relief food is still needed government will be ready to supply such areas.

Mr. Chungu says there is no need therefore for people to panic.

He says government will respond whenever alerted of any area in need of relief maize.
