Newly appointed Defence Minister Richwell Siamunene says he will not disappoint President Edgar Lungu, but will deliver according his expectations.
Mr Siamunene tells QFM News that he has received his appointment with both hands.
Mr. Siamunene says he is grateful to God for giving him an opportunity through President Lungu to serve the people of Zambia as Defence Minister, stating that it is only by God’s grace that he has been appointed as Defence Minister.
He has further thanked President Lungu for showing confidence and trust in him by appointing him to the position of Defence Minister.
Mr. Siamunene has also promised not to disappoint the people of Zambia by carrying out his duties effectively for the benefit of the country as a whole.
He states that he will work to the best of his ability in contributing to moving the country forward.
