Siamunene is Defence Minister

Republican President Edgar Lungu has with immediate effect appointed UPND Sinazongwe Member of Parliament Richwell Siamunene as Defence Minister.

Mr Siamunene was until his elevation transport,works,supply and communication deputy Minister.

President Lungu has been holding the position of Defence Minister from the time of late President Michael Sata’s administration, the position he retained following his election as President.

And President Lungu has appointed Kabwe central Member of Parliament James Kapyanga as Deputy Minister of Transport,works,supply and communication taking over from Mr Siamunene.
