Zambia needs leadership with proper direction

The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) says Zambia needs leadership that will provide proper direction in addressing the challenges it is facing.

ZCSD Executive Secretary Lewis Mwape notes that the country is currently facing a lot of challenges and requires leaders who are able to provide solutions as well as dialogue with the various stakeholders on how to go about addressing the challenges.

Mr. Mwape says the country does not require leaders who will only serve their interests first stating that people elect leaders with the hope that they will better their lives and not worsen things for them.

He has challenged the Patriotic Front leadership to provide the leadership that the country needs so that the country can move forward and not only in term of infrastructure development.

Mr. Mwape says leaders should also be able to listen to the advice from various stakeholders and not to think they can do everything on their own.

He further states that the people of Zambia are looking forward to a time when they will be taken to another level through quality leadership.
