Vice President Inonge Wina says Government is committed to improving the health sector in the country.
Speaking this morning when she received a donation of Medical Equipment and Disposables worth K178,000 from OK Investment Zambia Limited, Ms Wina thanked OK Investment Limited for supplementing Government’s efforts to improve the health status of Zambia through the strengthening of health service delivery.
Ms. Wina has since called on other companies to emulate what OK Investment Limited has done.
She states that the donation will go a long way.
And OK Investments Zambia Limited Chairman, John Zhang says he is hopeful that the donated medical equipment and medical disposables will help alleviate some of the challenges faced.
He says the equipment is of international quality standards.
Among the donated items are two Crank Hospital Beds, Baby Cots, Patient Stretcher, Wheel Chairs among others.
