UPND forewarns of harder times to come under PF

The opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) says the people of Zambia should expect more economic challenges as a result of the current power cuts experienced in the country.

UPND Deputy Spokesperson Edwin Lifwekelo believes that the economic hardships the people of Zambia have been subjected to are as a result of policy inconsistency by the PF Government.

Mr. Lifwekelo says as a result of power cuts, production will be reduced resulting in certain companies lying off their workers.

He says if the PF government was consistent in policy pronouncement, the country’s economy would have been performing better than what is obtaining on the ground.

He says it is for this reason that the people should not think twice in removing the PF from office saying they have failed to improve the living standards of the people.

He says the PF government should also listen to the cries that they are over borrowing saying it is not good for the country.
