UPND asks President Lungu to fire Kambwili!

UPND Chairman for Rural Construction and Development Mapani Moono has backed calls for President Lungu to fire Information and Broadcasting Minister Chishimba Kambwili for issuing threats on CBU lecturers and ZNBC workers.

And Mr. Moono has expressed concern at what he has termed as ‘policy inconsistency’ coming from the PF Government.

Mr. Moono has told QFM News in a walk-in-interview that it is worrying that Mr. Kambwili does not want to respect what Vice President Inonge Wina said that government will not dismiss CBU lecturers.

Mr. Moono, who is a lawyer by profession, says Mr. Kambwili ought to know that the reasons given by the lecturers are genuine and wonders why the government is shielding the CBU Vice Chancellor who the lecturers have rejected.

And Mr. Moono has challenged government to explain to the nation why they are busy exporting maize to Zimbabwe when the office of the Vice President that over 33 district will need relief food.

He says it does not make sense for government to export white maize and supply the local people who need food with yellow maize.
