Government has been urged to urgently address the increasing levels of joblessness among the youths in the Country.

Southern African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of disputes (SACCORD) Executive Director Boniface Chembe says there is need for the patriotic Front government to address the number of challenges the country is grappling with.

Mr. Chembe has challenged government to give a clear plan on how it intends to address the challenges Zambians are facing

Mr. Chembe has noted with deep sadness that many Zambians are suffering due to lack of clear roadmap from the government.

He says the continued growth in the country’s indebtedness risks future economic growth.

He has called on President Edgar Lungu to come up with clear and attainable plans on how it intends to reduce poverty, re-open the closed Universities, finalize the constitution among others.

Mr. Chembe says the constitution making process is in disarray because government is trying to use it for political survival.

He has since urged government to address high levels of political violence which is associated with the Patriotic Front cadres who have denied other political parties to access places like markets, bus stops and other public and trading places.
