Govt extols Trade Kings

Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Margret Mwanakatwe has commended Trade Kings for employing six thousand local people.

Speaking during her tour of the Trade Kings manufacturing plant in Lusaka this afternoon, Ms Mwanakatwe said she is impressed with the quality of machinery and products at Trade Kings.

Mrs. Mwanakatwe notes that Trade Kings has the potential to grow its business to greater heights because the company has qualified personnel.

She says though she has only managed to see about 20percent of what Trade Kings is able to do, she personally thinks Zambia has great products that can be exported across borders.

Ms Mwanakatwe adds that government appreciates the works being done by Trade Kings and will remain supportive in this regard.

And Trade Kings Managing director Allan Jackman says the company has already started exporting its products to Malawi, Burundi and Zimbabwe.

Mr. Jackman has also commended government for providing a conducive environment for business in the country.
