Kanchibiya MP cries for more FISP inputs

PF Kanchibiya Member of Parliament Davies Mwango says the number of farmers who need government assistance in his constituency is more than the allocated inputs under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP).

Mr. Mwango says this follows the registration of more cooperatives in the constituency.

He has told Qfm News that to this effect, he has written to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock to consider increasing allocation of farming inputs to Kanchibiya constituency.

Mr. Mwango says as area Member of Parliament he envisages that his letter will be acted upon this year especially that his constituency has not yet received farming inputs for the 2015/2016 farming season.
