EFZ calls on Lungu to ease tension

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has advised President Edgar Lungu to call for round table discussion with all opposition leaders to ease the political tension in the country.

EFZ Executive Director Reverend Pukuta Mwanza says President Lungu’s concern that there is too much bitterness among politicians should be looked into urgently.

Reverend Mwanza states that President Lungu has the responsibility as Head of State to show leadership by facilitating dialogue with all politicians for the benefit of the country.

Reverend Mwanza says he has no doubt that President Lungu will provide leadership by convening a meeting with opposition leaders in order to overcome the political tension and bitterness.
