Lungu having sleepless nights – HH

United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema has charged that President Edgar Lungu is having sleepless nights because of the pressure the opposition is giving him.

Mr. Hichilema says claims by President Lungu that some politicians are bitter shows that President Lungu is uncomfortable in office and is fully aware that the UPND will give him a tough time come 2016.

Mr. Hichilema says he will not stop speaking for the people of Zambia who he says are suffering under the PF administration.

He adds that the PF should know that their tactics of shutting down the opposition will not work, stating that the UPND is determined to redeem the people of Zambia from the alleged suffering they going through under the PF administration.

The UPND leader states that there is nothing to praise the PF government for because almost all sectors of the economy have been destroyed because of poor management.

And Rainbow Party Spokesperson Goodson Banda says the opposition is bitter because the PF government has messed up in so many areas.

Mr. Banda says the opposition has so many reasons of being bitter considering that the PF has contributed to the sufferings of the people.

Meanwhile the United Party for National Development (UPND) in North-western province has welcomed the move taken by Kasama Central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba popularly known as GBM to join the party.

UPND Vice provincial Chairperson Mark Kalemba says Mr Mwamba‘s decision has further demonstrated that the UPND is not a tribal party as critics want people to believe.
