Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) President Edith Nawakwi has expressed shock at the recent decision by President Edgar Lungu to pardon convicted child defiler Clifford Dimba alias General Kanene.
Ms Nawakwi says she personally thinks child defilers should serve their full prison sentences.
She says this is to ensure that they totally reform and deter them from committing similar offences.
Mr. Nawakwi states that President Lungu’s decision to pardon Dimba reflects his beliefs.
The FDD leader says no one expects a person who is called to give service to the people to go his way and ignore the demands of the majority citizens.
